Dr. Adriane Hines
Originally from Oklahoma, Dr. Adriane Hines grew up with a natural curiosity and passion for health and the intricate workings of the human body. Complications post-delivery with her son, Sebastian, drove her to seek answers that were unavailable by traditional medicine about his condition. This driving force propelled her to pursue the path of alternative medicine.

She has a passion for preconception planning. What is preconception planning? Preconception planning focuses on preparing the body for pregnancy and maintaining a healthy environment during pregnancy. You can think of preconception planning like gardening. In order for a beautiful flower to grow and flourish you need to make sure the soil is nutrient-rich to promote healthy growth. In this same manner, we work to determine the optimal environment for your future bundle of joy by assessing diet, blood chemistry, and lifestyle factors that affect the development of your future baby.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hines enjoys beach time and Legos with her son. She rowed crew at the University of Florida and enjoys time on the water to this day. Yoga, weight training, and rowing keep her active while challenging her physically and mentally. She is a die-hard Gator fan and can be seen sporting orange and blue regularly.

She graduated from the University of Florida receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a focus in biology and a minor focus in chemistry. During her undergraduate studies she worked in food allergy research at the University of Florida Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition. Upon graduation, she dedicated herself to a full-time research position studying Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 at the University of Florida College of Medicine in the Department of Endocrinology. Research helped to satisfy her inner desire to know the “why” behind diseases, but she still had a driving desire to help people. She found the answer to this desire in chiropractic.
She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine. While a student at Palmer she received awards for her contribution in the areas of radiology, clinical practices, and campus leadership. It was during her studies at Palmer that she was introduced to functional medicine – an area of expertise in the interpretation of blood chemistry and the administration of nutraceuticals to combat early disease processes, reverse existing diseases, and promote optimal internal body environment. To further her understanding in the area of functional medicine she attending outside training in the areas of internal disorders and nutrition. She has completed the required 300 hours for both the internal disorders (DABCI) and nutrition (DACBN) diplomates. In May, 2018 she was awarded her Diplomate in Internal Disorders and will sit for her nutrition board exam. She is devoted to providing the most up to date research and techniques for her patients. In alignment with these efforts, she has completed a Board Certification in Anti-Aging (ABAAHP) and a Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Metabolic Medicine (FAAMM) with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. |
